| Laurent Ferrier is the epitome of an independent watch-maker. His watches are representations of what traditional watchmaking should be. The casings are immaculately well-rounded and the watch mechanism delivers a smooth and precise movement. Anyone who owns a Laurent Ferrier watch will find themselves in another degree of affluence. |
The Galet Traveller World give its wearer something extra to gaze upon - a dual time-zone, as well as automatic date adjustment. This watch is equipped with a stunning Cloisonné enamel dial which displays a detailed map of the world. This special enamel is unique because it is used on a minimal scale, mainly on limited luxurious high-end timepieces. To make things clear, the Galet Traveller World is not a limited edition. Unlike the Galet Traveller US Limited edition, this timepiece can be purchased from any Laurent Ferrier retailers worldwide. Laurent Ferrier released the Galet Traveller US Limited edition, with only 8 timepieces, in the United States in 2014.
Based on my personal experience, I am not impressed at all with the limited edition watch. However, they did catch my attention with the Galet Traveller World. The craftsmanship of this particular timepiece is beautifully constructed. They paid close attention to detail. A refined gentleman who wears a bespoke suit can wear this watch because it fits perfectly well with the ensemble.
