It’s almost one of the most popular seasons of the year for fashion — fall. Less sun means more layers, and more layers means more options and more chances for creativity. Time to put away the shorts and dust off those trench coats, it’s about to get cool.
Ladies — according to the runways, from Chanel to Calvin Klein, Elie Saab to Saint Laurent, FW ‘15/’16 Ready-to-Wear lines are flooded with rich, dark colors and boxy silhouettes. The theme of the runways this season can only be described as “classic.”
Every show either had the aesthetic of chic simplicity and subtlety or bold and daring patterns. So, whether you chose a dark, sleek look or a striking, vivacious one, you can’t go wrong this semester.
Now Gents — across the board, from McQueen to Armani, your trending styles this semester can be summed up in three words: sleek, edgy, and badass. Nothing but dark colors these next seasons, boys, just lots of black, gray, and white.
Baggy silhouettes for street wear and fitted suits for the business world. Trench coats, leather (faux is the way to go) bomber jackets, and fur embellishments dominate the runways. This fall and winter, it’s time to clean up, look sharp and look bad.
